((I'm lowering the levels of Brandon's Pokémon since Harvey quit.))

Brandon immediately released a Pokémon. It was dog-like, with a fluffy white tail and mane. Its body was a fiery red, with tiger-like stripes. "GraOOlithe!" It howled.

"What Pokémon are you using?" Brandon asked, a grin pulling up at the corner of his mouth when he saw the Abra next to her.

An aide leaned over and whispered in Annabelle's ear. "I taught that Abra the TM Shadow Ball. It'll be useful, since the only other move it has is Teleport."

MATCH ONE: Annabelle's Abra versus Brandon's Growlithe

Growlithe

Type: Fire
Gender: Male
Level: 15
Moves: Bite [Dark], Roar [Normal], Ember [Fire], Leer [Normal]

Abra [Name: Zip]

Type: Psychic
Gender: Male
Level: 10
Moves: Teleport [Psychic], Shadow Ball [Ghost]

((Now, all you have to tell me is the gender of your Pokémon and what you attack with.
Abra attacks first, since it's faster.

You may give Abra a nickname, if you like.))

Annabelle grinned. Abra stood up, ready to battle.

(( I dont' really know how to make Abra attack, in RP style?..)

((You can just command him. I can say what happens.

I'll edit in the gender, and name if you're serious.))

Annabelle stood, back tall, with Abra. " Abra, Shadow Ball!" Annabelle commanded. Abra jumped forward, and did the move on Brandon's Pokemon.

"Growlithe, use Bite!"

The Fire Pokémon was knocked backwards by the Shadow Ball, but quickly got up and charged with Bite at the Abra.

((Note: Dark > Psychic when it comes to type matchups.))

Abra was about to get hit, when Annabelle called out, " Abra, Telaport!" Abra was gone and behind the Pokemon in an instant.

"Quick, around and use Ember!"

The Puppy Pokémon whirled towards Abra and spit flames at it.

((It's actually spelled "teleport."))

Abra got burned a breifly, and then Annabelle called out, " Shadow Ball." Abra preformed the attack.

A purple blob of energy was hurled towards Growlithe, and it used Bite again, staying true to its master's command. Its Special Defense stat had fallen, however, so whoever battled next would be at an advantage if they used Special Attacks.

((Abra should faint now, according to my calculations. But don't worry, we're getting closer. In this RP, this first battle doesn't earn any experience. I'll explain more later.))

Abra spun around in a circle once, and then fainted. " Zip!" Annabelle called, and ran to her Pokemon.

"I'll battle next," Dawn said, stepping up and releasing a Pokemon from the red-and-white sphere. It appeared to be wearing a white robe and a green helmet, with red horns.

MATCH TWO: Dawn's Ralts versus Brandon's Growlithe

STATUS: Special Defense is down one stage

Ralts [Name: Ralts]

Type: Psychic
Gender: Male

Moves: Growl [Normal], Confusion [Psychic], Double Team [Normal]

"Ralts, use Growl and then Confusion!" Dawn commanded.

Before Brandon could react, Ralts let out a cute sound, making Growlithe appear less aware of what was happening. Just after, the dog appeared to have a headache, and whined slightly.

"Growlithe, use Bite!" Brandon called, a stern edge to his voice.

Growlithe rushed at Ralts, getting a hold on its arm.

"Quick, Double team and Confusion!"

Ralts suddenly created three mirage clones, but Growlithe was only holding onto one. The clone disappeared immediately, leaving three Ralts, one of which used the Psychic attack on Growlithe before it realized what was happening.

Brandon cried, "Use a combo of Leer and Bite!"

Immediately, the Growlithe appeared mighty, glaring at Ralts, and then aimed Bite again. The other two clones disappeared, and Ralts struggled.

"Weaken it with Confusion before you go down, Ralts," Dawn said calmly. And as Ralts obeyed, she watched Growlithe KO it with an Ember attack.

Growlithe was weakened, but the Charmander would be harder.

Dawn withdrew Ralts, and turned to the others. "Who thinks they want to go next?"
